The Knitted Bag plays with the expectations that the look of materials evoke. While bags are normally made of some kind of textile the Knitted Bag is made of a plastic wallpaper that just looks like textile. The Knitted Bag is made of plastic wallpaper from the series "Tapete Touch" by the designer Petra Blaisse, who printed the natural appearance of knitted mesh on wallpaper. Used in this way the Knitted Bag aims to take the idea one step further.
